Established in 1981

What began as the simple vision of James W. McDorman, Victor Know, Orhan Onen, and Louis F. Molnar; the four founding trustees of the Ashland Soccer Association, has over the last 40 years ​grown beyond its initial goal to "educate, teach, and promote the game of soccer to the youth of Ashland County." The ASA is open in any player between the ages of 5 and 15 regardless of where they live. 

Our Purpose

  • Having every participant enjoy Ashland soccer, the players, coaches, referees, parents, and administrators. Fun, pure and simple, is our main purpose for being.
  • Making soccer available to all interested youths who are age five through, and including, fourteen.
  • Providing organized soccer at a reasonable cost to our participants.
  • Encouraging the players to develop their soccer skills.
  • Providing the soccer facilities and equipment.
  • Encouraging teamwork, good sportsmanship, and fair play.
  • Building good character among our participants.
